Fake It Until You Make It at Kreeger Theater at Arena Stage

Why see Fake It Until You Make It?

A LITTLE BIT OF BELIEF GOES A LONG WAY

Exciting times are upon us as the Washington premiere of Larissa FastHorse's new play, Fake It Until You Make It, heads to the Kreeger Theater at Arena Stage this spring! From April 3 to May 4, 2025, FastHorse, the multi-award-winning and first-known female Native American Broadway playwright, continues to break barriers as the first Native American writer to stage a play at Arena Stage. Collaborating with director Michael John Garcs, Fake It Until You Make It is a bold, thought-provoking comedy that delves into themes of identity and the Native American experience with wit and insight.

What Is The Story?

Set in the cutthroat world of the non-profit sector, the play follows Wynona, a Native American leader of N.O.B.U.S.H., and her rival, River, who heads Indigenous Nations Soaring. As their competition spirals out of control, secrets are exposed, and chaos ensues.
