Ochoa Curates New Voices

The world renowned Belgian choreographer Annabelle Lopez Ochoa presents a thrilling evening of specially curated works for the Washington Ballet, featuring her own acclaimed piece Delusional Beauty, commissioned back in 2019 specially for the company. Inspired by Dali's Femme  la tte de fleurs, the work headlines a program which also showcases pieces by two of the rising stars in ballet choreography. 

Chanel DaSilva's piece colorem features music by acclaimed composer Cristina Spinei and was first seen with the Joffrey Ballet in 2022. Houston Thomas is another new name on the scene handpicked by Ochoa, whose work will be a specially commissioned world premiere with Washington Ballet.
