This revival of the 80s classic will certainly pack a punch when comes to The Muny in July this year, produced in partnership with the Saint Louis Chess Club and the World Chess Hall of Fame. Written by Tim Rice and ABBA's Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, Chess takes us back to the Cold War, where the relationship between the US and the USSR is heavily strained, and at the World Chess Championships, two rivals go head-to-head in the game of their lives.

As the story moves around the world, the players, lovers, politicians, and spies are manipulated to the beat of an impressive rock score including classics; 'I Know Him So Well' and 'One Night In Bangkok'. Don't miss this exciting revival at The Muny for a limited run this summer.
