Like many performers of her genre, Chrisette first found her voice singing Gospel in the Church, developing a jazz-tinged style that many compare to the late, great Billie Holiday. It wasn't long before she was a feature on tracks by Jay Z and Nas, coming into her own with smash hit, aforementioned Grammy Award-winning single 'Be OK' in 2009.
